Happy New Year...

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE...

Well christmas is over for another year... we had a great day spending it with family.. Kaitlyn got totally spoilt as usual and she loved all her presents that she got.. her main present was a trampoline which she was totally surprised about...(we spent all christmas eve trying to put the thing together lol).. she was awake at 5.30am wanting to open up her presents so i let her open her stocking on her door first then at 6am i let her go downstairs to see if santa had been.. he even left her a note saying thanks for the yummy snack lol... so all presents opened and we had a yummy breakfast then off to my aunties for lunch.. kaitlyn went to her dads for chirstmas night this year and she again got spoilt...

I did pretty well myself this year very very happy with what i got..
* a new 1gig card for my camera
* season 2 and 3 of One Tree Hill
*3 new singlet tops
* a gorgeous handmade bookmark from my sister
* a remote for my camera
* a stamp making kit
* some a4 draws for my scrap room
*patricia cornwells new book

so i think i did pretty well this year....

well its now new years eve... bring on 2008

Oh and i can now share my exciting news with you all that i keep forgetting to tell you lol.. I have been asked to be a Design Team member for Karens Scrappin Cupboard.. yeahh im so excited about this.. such an awsome site to be a member of.. definatley go and check it out they have also started a projects blog that will have diffrent projects from the design team members on it so make sure you check that out...

Ill share some of my projects i have done soon.

Alison came over to scrap yesterday and i got 2 things finished... hope to do a few more things today before i go out.. Kaitlyn is at her dad's for a week and everyone else has gone away so its really quiet here (i miss my girl...) so plenty of time to scrap lol...

Count down...

till Santa comes yeahhh... LOL not long to go now thank goodness... still have a bit of shopping left to do still but not alot which is good... then its just wrapping them (i really hate that part)... so tomorrow is my final day to go and get it all done...

So other things... i got a scraproom makeover yeahhh.. im very happy with how it turned out... we got rid of the old bed that was in the room and i got a new bookshelf in to store lots of my stuff on as well as hold my clip it up etc... i really love it now im off to scrap today as its given me lots of inspiration yeahh... here are some pics of my new room...

OK what else... Kaitlyn had her end of year presentation assembley yesterday... she did very well this year was so proud of her report that she got home she got mostly outstandings and some highs which was a great effort for her... at the assembley all of year 1 did a singing item... they learnt how to speak french this year so they sang 3 songs in french and english which was great... Kaitlyn was on the french side (she is actually pretty good with speaking another language she also knows italian)...

she did very well....

Ok well today i must go and finish off making some chrissy presents...

Storms and other things

Well it hasnt really been summer weather latley... not the usual hot swealtering heat that we normally have.. instead im in jeans and yesterday i was even in a jumper what the??? LOL...

Last sunday we had a massive storm hit us and lets just say that i was not a happy chappy.. i was in tears... I was on my way to my grandparents house when the storm hit us... it was the most scariest driving experience ever in my entire driving life... the hail was the size of golf balls they were huge... here is a pic of them

some of them were even bigger then these ones... my mum took these photos to show the insurance companies as we had some damage done to our house also... our back pergola area where the stairs are was smashed by a falling tree branch and the roof on our pergola was cracked in lots of places so now we cant sit out there if its raining cause it dosnt do much lol

and this is a pic of the huge tree that fell down in our street.. this tree is about 5 houses up from ours and it crashed across our whole street lucky we have 2 ends we can get in and out of our street from...

but the worse part was my brand new car... i was in tears.. i mean there was nothing i could do but sit there and cry lol.. the roof, bonnet and passenger sides of my car have huge dents in them.. dont know the final damage cost yet (only got a hold of the insurance company today) so wont know the extent of it till i go and get some quotes to fix it... but its so sad my poor car...

not a very good pic but you can see some of the dents in the bonett... so hope its fixable...

other then that not alot happening around here... having done much scrapping i really need to but just no mojo what so ever... anyone send me any please... oh yeah and i really must go and do the rest of my christmas shopping... maybe sunday i might venture out and do it or friday if i feel like it lol.. i dread heading to the shops...

ohhh i do have some exciting news to share but not yet lol will share definatly when i can...lol love keeping everyone in suspense ...

well must go and get organised to see if i can scrap i hope that i can i running behind in my christmas journal and really want to keep caught up... off to see what i can do

My Birthday...

Well another year gone and another year older lol...i got totally spoilt by everyone... my gorgeous girl woke me up at 6.30am to give me my presents lol... she also bought me a cake to have after dinner last night check out the cake she chose for me... there goes the diet thats for sure lol

my presents consisted of a new desk lamp i got one of those Ott-lite lights they are so good and bright (i can see properly now lol).. i also got a cd, come clothes and some new summer jammies.. totally spoilt... thanks to all my gorgeous friends for the birthday wishes too...

ok 2 more pages to share from my christmas journal... 3rd was all about cards.. i handmade all my cards this year using diffrent colours... i used the card i made on this page also

and the 4th is the perfect christmas for you... i used some photos from this year and last year as well... family and friends is what makes christmas perfect for me...well not alot else happening around here... its raining lots so not a nice summer we are having so far lol... off to a christmas party this saturday night so should be lots of fun and have a few drinks with friends...

Christmas Journal

I decided this year to finally join in properly with Shimelle's Christmas journal... i loved all the prompts last year but didnt actually get around to getting any of the pages done.. so when i got the email from shimelle saying this year we could do it all again for free i thought why not and this year i intend to do more then just the first page lol... so here is my book that im using this year.. i decided on a Heidi swapp 9x9 album... i love working in this size not too big not too small lol... so here is my cover and this is my first page declaring what im going to do with this journal...

im nearlly caught up just got to print a photo for page 2 then im all done so far... waiting on day 3 prompt....

not alot else to report... its storming here so not alot of time on the computer... its my birthday tomorrow so will update with pics of my day tomorrow...
